Mendoza is renowned amongst wine lovers because its high altitude and long summers mean that the wines have wonderfully pure tasting fruit. Viñalba Malbec is soft and full bodied, with dark fruit notes and a hint of bitter chocolate which is the hallmark of the Malbec grape.

Altitude 1,200m. Different parcels located on sandy-silty soils and stony subsoil.
WINEMAKING
Cold maceration during 4 days at 10°C (50°F). Selected yeasts. Pump-overs three times a day. Maceration for 20 days at 26°C (79°F). Malolactic fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks.
