Viñalba is a family-owned winery, set-up and run by husband and wife Hervé and Diane Joyaux Fabre.
“When I first came to Argentina in the early 1990s, I was amazed by the quality of the local terroir and its huge potential to produce beautifully balanced wines with a strong sense of place. I’ve always believed that Malbec should take central stage in local wine blends rather than have a supporting role for other varietals. We’re blessed with the perfect growing conditions for grapes in both Mendoza and Patagonia and an absolutely idyllic landscape. This is what we have tried to capture in every bottle of Viñalba, ever since our first vintage.”

Our vineyards in Mendoza are based at foothills of the Andes mountain range. They feature an enviable array of grape varieties, soils and altitudes (up to 1,500m above sea level), as well as a very long, dry and mild autumn.
